The ‘Poperingse hommelknopje’ is a chocolate hop cone with the delicious taste of beer and hops. It is filled with a home-made ganache based on Watou Tripel, with an extra flavour of Poperinge hops. Its form, its filling as well as its name make this chocolate a typical local product. The chocolates come in different sized packs. The concept and packaging stem from the artisanal chocolaterie called ‘Zokola’ in Krombeke (Blasiusstraat 97, 8972 Poperinge), where the ‘hommelknopjes’ are made and packaged with love and care.
